A Life Less Ordinary

So i haven't posted much in my blog of late, i've been rather busy! Had some amazing experiences of late, Glastonbury festival and Download were just amazing! Made some new friends in our little camp in Download, good bunch of chaps, was a really good weekend, think i went into it expecting not to like the music, i'm not so into heavy type stuff, but was goaded into it by a mate. To be honest, i had an awesome time, the music was good, the weather wasn't too bad, the beer was cold, ish, a good weekend all round! Only bit of precipitation that hit us was on Sunday morning and singing at it seemed to do the trick and it vanished pretty quickly, randomly enough.

Glastonbury was truly out of this world, words cannot do it justice, such an incredible yet strange place! There is so much more to do than just the music, shangrila, the green fields! Just stunning. I was sat drinking a beer at the stone circle, having a vodka jelly served to me by a completely green guy quoting pagan verse and watching the grass police chase around the field trying to stop guys from relieving themselves in the bushes! So many people i met, and didn't get a single name, phonenumber etc, but i guess thats just part of Glasto. The two girls in the Queens Head stage, Becky and Pearl were cool, quirky too, the random tennis player quoting to be the 560th tennis player in the world but unfortunately unable to play due to failing a drugs and alcohol test. The girl in the silent disco, with a flowered headband and her cute friends, all the guys in the cinema tent that had jumped the wall and gotten away with it due to a hippy marshal not reporting them. lol. What a place, check my gallery for the pics of it all, or hit my facebook profile if your my friend!

So summer is scooting by, i say looking out of my window at a rather overcast Saturday afternoon, lovely, a hangover from drinking till 530am last night with my mates hangs behind my eyes, wondering if anyone wants to go out tonight! Two festivals down, one to go, Reading should be pretty ace, i thought nothing could be better than Download, then there was Glasto, and i'm sure nothing can top that! But who knows, perhaps it can only get better and better!
